The Chicago Tea Party is part of a movement that started in Seattle, Washington on February 16, 2009 and then gained momentum on Thursday, February 19 when Rick Santelli in an on-air segment on CNBC Business Newslive called for a “Chicago Tea Party”. Santelli’s remarks became known as the “Rant Heard ‘Round the World“.

For those of you who do not know Arne Duncan, he is the Superintendent of Chicago Public Schools. He has no qualms about indoctrinating his students and using them as pawns to lobby for more education money at the taxpayer expense. Below are my past stories about him:

How will he change the courts? What kind of judges will he appoint?

We already know, thanks to Joe the Plumber, that Obama wants to spread from the wealth, i.e. take money from whoever thinks is rich and gives it to others through his taxation policies. This figure keeps changing, first it was $250,000, then $200,000, Biden said it was $150,000, and now Gov. Richardson is saying $120,000.

In context, this becomes even more scary of what Obama will do if elected. In it, he compares the treatment of Africans to environmental issues.

This is scary to say the least. What would he use this force for? We know he doesn’t want people having guns. Could this force be used to stifle those who question him like these examples?

On my way to lunch recently, I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama; I need the money.” I laughed. In a restaurant my server had on an “Obama 08″ tie. Again I laughed. Just imagine the coincidence. When the bill came, I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Barack-Obama-redistribution-of-wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need—the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight. I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful. At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment, I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more. I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

After reading this, I think we should all put this into action. Every time you go out to a restaurant from now until the election, ask your server who they are supporting (AFTER you are done with your meal). If they are supporting Obama tell them you are happy to hear that and you are glad they are so compassionate towards the less fortunate. Then tell then you are going to donate their tip to the next homeless person you see in their name so they can start redistributing the wealth even before the election. Not only will you affect their opinion, they will tell every other server in that restaurant. If they don’t like this redistribution of their wealth, then tell ask them to reconsider their vote for Obama. Remember, you many want to avoid that restaurant for a while after this personal object lesson.

A commenter just reminded me to emphasize: Do NOT do this until AFTER you are done.

This case brings up two very important issues.

1. Freedom of Information -
   This case show why government transparency is so critical. Without it, citizens will never know how the government spends our money, whether they are spying on us, and whether they are researching our private records for political gains.
2. Privacy rights and free speech -
   There is no indication that this was tied to the Obama campaign. I would seriously doubt there is a connection. This will probably be an Obama supporter acting on his own, similar to the case of Gov. Palin’s email being hacked.

   It has been stunning and scary to watch how a private citizen has been attacked personally with ridicule, and invasion of his private records including his taxes and criminal background checks. Both Joe Biden and Barack Obama ridiculing plumbers and small business owners while their surrogates have researched Joe’s private records for any story the can find. All of this just because Joe exercised his right to free speech and asked Sen. Obama a question.

This makes one wonder, what will it be like to live under an Obama and total Congressional control by the Democrats? How much of the news media will help protect the citizens, when the majority of them now are doing the bidding for Obama? How long would it take an Obama administration to go after Conservative talk radio, Fox News and bloggers who disagree with him? Man y of you think the Bush administration has infringed on our rights as citizens, what will you say when Obama takes it even further?
