Obama says he would impose oil windfall profits tax
Barack Obama not only doesn’t want to give drivers a tax break, he wants to increase the cost of gas by imposing a windfall profits tax.
“I’ll make oil companies like Exxon pay a tax on their windfall profits, and we’ll use the money to help families pay for their skyrocketing energy costs and other bills,” the Illinois senator said.
Sorry Barack, but this will have the exact opposite affect. I guess he is too young to remember the disaster this policy created when Jimmy Carter tried it back in the 70’s.
